Here we snow again!

You would think we’d know how to deal with the snowy, cold conditions by now, but the ‘big freeze’ is still causing chaos around the UK.
The snow has caused 7,000 schools to close which has stopped many parents from going to work after they’ve just returned from Christmas.

Here at the Barracudas office (where the snow has missed us out completely) we have come up with some top tips to staying warm whether you’re at home with the children or if you have made it in safely to work:

Dress warmly
Wear a hat and keep your head warm, your head is where you lose most of your body heat. Make sure you wear lots of layers to trap the heat in rather than just one big one.

Drink a warm drink
Drinking a cup of tea or coffee can instantly warm you up, but if you’re like me and you don’t like either they also make very good hand warmers.

Keep active
Keeping yourself on the move with simple exercises will produce more body heat (has been tried and tested by Karen in the office).

And finally...
If the snow is stopping you from getting out of the house why not make use of your time and give us a call to book your children into camp (plus seen as we have no snow of our own we would love to hear about yours).
