Mum helps kids to try new activities

One hard working mum has spoken about an organisation she founded to help her little ones try new activities.
Caroline Johnston - who is mum to Tom, 12, Henry, eight, and Caroline and Freddie, both four – told the West Sussex County Times that a group of local parents formed the You Can Do It! Group after sharing coffee at her home one day.
They decided that their kids, who have special needs, did not have enough after school activities for them to enjoy and take part in with their siblings
So they took action and formed the group, which now caters to around 100 people of all ages each week, offering a variety of value for money activities, like arts and sports courses.
Caroline said: "To see the children enjoying themselves, that’s what makes you want to carry on doing it."
The busy mum now hopes that her venture can get charity status to help it keep organising value for money activities, like dance, table tennis and gymnastics for locals.
Families who want to try activities outdoors with their kids also have many gardens to choose from in Sussex. People may appreciate Arundel Castle (and its 400 acres!), Bedgbury National Pinetum & Forest, or Borde Hill Garden.
