Parents try new activities because of kids

As many of you already know, having little ones certainly changes how you try new activities and now research has backed this up.
A whopping 64 per cent of caregivers said that they behaved better as a result of having kids!
In addition, 44 per cent of parents who spoke to Triodos Bank revealed that they are now more careful with money as a result of having little ones to look after , while almost 30 per cent now "mind their PS and Qs" for the sake of their kids.
Many parents (27 per cent) also felt the urge to go green after their little ones arrived and 15 per cent cut back on how much gas and electricity they used.
"Having kids is the biggest prompt many people have to put their principles into action. As any parent knows, children pick up on everything, they ask questions and demand answers as to why we do things the way we do. Naturally parents are keen to pass on the values they believe in to their children," Huw Davies, head of personal banking at Triodos Bank, said.
If you want to try new activities that are eco-friendly with your little girl, how about painting her nails? Normal varieties can leave people light headed, but the Telegraph recommended trying Piggy Paint, an eco-friendly, non-toxic range that even comes in a glow in the dark shade.
