Try new activities in Hertfordshire

If you're running out of ideas about how to keep kids entertained at the weekends and try new activities, you can breathe a sigh of relief.
Families in Hertfordshire can take part in a fun value for money activity that could involve getting wet!
On Saturday April 9th the Wildlife Explorers Club will have their monthly meeting at Rye Meads nature reserve in Stanstead Abbots, and this time around their chosen activity is pond dipping.
Kids will be given nets and can then set about searching for underwater wildlife between 11:00 GMT and 13:00 GMT. Parents can also join them if they want to take part in the fun too.
People who want to try the activity have been advised to book. Royal Society for the Protection of Birds Wildlife Explorer members only have to pay £3, while non-members are charged £4.50. Adults can join their kids for free!
If kids can't wait until April for an outdoor adventure, they may want to take part in the Wildlife Watch event at Rye Meads nature reserve on Saturday March 26th, where all their nature-related questions will be answered by expert guides.
