Kids in Cambridgeshire have been taking part in a variety of holiday activities to keep them busy, including youth hockey.
Not only did children at Perse Girls School get to try new activities this half-term, they also got coached by non-other than Cambridge City skipper Ben Hudson and GB international Glenn Kirkham, which was sure to keep them excited!
"It was a real pleasure to coach at this event. We did a lot on technical things and improving individual skills. We were looking at dribbling and did quite a lot of work on hitting this week," Glenn told Cambridge-news.co.uk.
The sessions were open to kids aged eight to 13 from all across mid-Anglia and over 40 of them turned up to join in the fun.
Ben told the news source that the holiday activities had "gone really well".
If kids in Cambridgeshire are more interested in cycling than hockey they can take part in the National Trust's sportive rides at Wimpole on September 11th. Parents who'd prefer to take things at a gentler pace can always explore the landscaped grounds of the Wimpole Estate while their kids keep more active.
