If you want your kids to try new activities outdoors you may want to head along to an event in Rotherhithe this month.
Environmentalist David Bellamy is coming to the area to lead a fun nature day for all the family.
On March 27th families can join the star at King's Stairs Gardens for a nature trail on which kids can learn more about flora and fauna.
Little ones joining in will also get the chance to meet some owls at the park, which is under threat from developments.
Donna Spedding, a local mum, said: "This Nature Day is to provide an educational and fun-filled day in King’s Stairs Gardens, as well as showcasing the park’s environmental and community benefits."
Kids will also be able to get involved with building their own feeders and bird boxes, which you can then display in your garden!
Little ones who love arts and crafts can take part in some activities with Southwark Mobile Play Unit.
If that wasn't already enough, kids (and parents!) can have their faces painted for free.
In addition, older kids who want a more hair-raising experience of nature can try watching Deadly 60, a children's natural history series in which presenter Steve Backshall meets killer wildlife. It's one to watch!
