Between activity day camps in the week you'll undoubtedly be looking for ways to keep the kids having fun at weekends.
Luckily, parents in Hertfordshire won't need to travel far this weekend!
The Tring Spring Fun Day is kicking off in style this weekend (from April 23rd) and you can head to the town and its Natural History Museum for two days packed full of free events to celebrate.
There's an easter trail, hands-on specimen workshops and crafts on offer between 10:00 BST and 16:00 BST. Kids can even take part in a spring writing competition, which could see their story published.
You'll also be able to get light refreshments on site to keep kids fuelled for the whole day.
If your children are interested in animals, you can treat them to after-school activities at the Natural History Museum in Tring on May 5th. Between 15:45 BST and 16:30 BST, they can get the buzz on bees at a drop in workshop that only costs £1.50.
At the session - which is suited to those aged five and over – they'll also have the chance to try art activities for children and make things that they can then take home.
