If you live in Cambridgeshire and fancy making the most of this weekend's hot weather, how about visiting a historic garden to try easter holiday activities?
You can go to Burghley House's gardens and bask in the warmth while you explore the historic parkland, which also has a section with interesting modern sculptures.
If the weather takes a turn for the worse, the house itself is also worth a look. It's been used for both The Da Vinci Code and Pride and Prejudice so you'll really feel like you're on a film set! Your budding culture vultures can also look at the 17th century Italian paintings, eighteen state rooms and Japanese Ceramics.
For families who are after some historical easter holiday activities, there's also the Brewhouse Interpretation Centre, where you can find out much more about the house and the people who lived in it.
After this you can always take a trip to nearby Pigeons Farm in Peterborough where kids can have fun with the animals.
