Try new activities for VE Day

If you are looking to try new activities with your kids that are educational but still fun you're in luck!
The Royal Gunpowder Mills in Waltham Abbey is holding a weekend full of remembrance and celebrations from April 30th to May 2nd.
On Sunday 1st you and your family can enjoy watching the Hawker Hurricane MKIIB – the only one of its kind – do an aerobatic display over the event.
There's also much more on offer, such as an exhibition on the 1940s, living history camps and battle re-enactments, perfect inspiration for your little soldiers!
It's ideal if you're looking for value for money activities too as children aged three to 15 only have to pay £6 for entry and adults £8.50. For this price, you can get a day packed full of activities that runs between 10:00 BST and 17:00 BST.
If your little ones or teenagers are interested in military history they may also enjoy going to the Royal Gunpowder Mills on June 11th and 12th when they can look at a Military Vehicle Display.
