Try new activities in Brighton: Shopping!

Parents such as yourself in Brighton may want to try new activities as part of the city's Festival of Shopping.
On April 16th and 17th, Made in Brighton is being held at the city's Marina. Here you can look round a trade fair featuring local talent while you are entertained by The Bakelites, a 20s jazz band and The Top Bananas, musicians who perform atop stilts.
At the two-day event, you can also marvel at Brighton's Masked Juggler and treat the children to having their faces painted and a spot of retail therapy.
You can try new activities in the five trading zones: Food & Drink, Jewellery & Fashion, Stationery & Gifts, Health & Wellbeing and Home and Garden.
Entry to the event – which runs between 11:00 BST and 17:00 BST – is free, as is parking.
After the shopping is over you may even want to grab a bite to eat at the restaurants nearby, such as The Brasserie Fish & Grill or Karma.
