Family fun day to be hosted at Bedford's Old Warden Park

It is the age old dilemma. What can we do on a Sunday to keep the whole family entertained?

How about taking a trip to Bedford's Old Warden Park this weekend (May22nd), where a Family Fun Day is being held.

It is guaranteed to have something for everyone, with eight different zones for mum, dad and the kids to explore.

In the Garden Zone there is a grown your own section, with tree climbing tips for the older kids and wine tasting for the adults.

The Sports Zone has canoeing, kayaking, climbing and orienteering, while the those interested in the Visitor Zone can learn about fishes, steam engines and the English School of Falconry.

Refreshments will be served in the shape of a BBQ and Sunday lunch in the Garden Restaurant. Then, after a bite to eat, why not check out the Wild Zone and see some slithering snakes and reptiles.
