Hertfordshire has summer activities for kids

Hertfordshire is getting ready to host a special event, which will be of interest to you if you're looking for art activities for children.
The Festival of Living Crafts at Hatfield House will feature a range of traditional and modern British crafts for your kids to be inspired by.
You'll also be able to peruse a variety of artisan food products that children can choose from for a treat. There are handmade preserves, chocolates, fudges and cordials to choose from.
Children can also get involved (as can adults!) in the workshops and demonstrations, perfect summer activities for kids.
The event is also being accompanied by brass and jazz bands, as well as morris dancing to make it even more of an enjoyable experience!
Children are also sure to love the Punch & Judy shows being held just for them and lively storytelling sessions.
You can visit The Festival of Living Crafts between Thursday May 5th and Sunday May 8th from 10:00 BST to 17:00 BST. Family tickets start from £22 (when bought in advance).
While you're in the area you may also want to take the kids to have a look at Old Hatfield's historic landmarks, such as St Etheldreda's Church, a grade one listed building.
