Kids could try festivals for holiday activities

When you think of a festival your thoughts probably go towards line ups designed with adults in mind, yet there are several in the UK that also provide holiday activities for kids.

One such event is the Big Chill at Hertfordshire's Eastnor Castle Deer Park, which will feature a family activity space called Little Chill.

There'll be DJ Dads sessions held by DJ Tom Middleton, which are open to all ages and are perfect holiday activities for kids!

Families can also stay in an area where they benefit from their own toilets and showers (a blessing at a festival!) and kids of all ages are welcome.

You can always take a break to watch The Chemical Brothers, Kanye West and Rodrigo y Gabriela perform at the event, which older kids may appreciate as well.

The festival runs from August 4th to 7th in 2011, the 17th year it has been held.

If you do decide to take your kids along to one of this summer's festivals make sure that you bring items to keep them as content as possible, such as pillows and perhaps a soft toy for a younger child.
