Open day celebrates launch of Hemel Hempstead Town Youth's Saturday Club

Football is loved by millions of kids - and indeed big kids - around the country, and an open day is being held by Hemel Hempstead Town Youth in order to celebrate the beautiful game and their Saturday Club.

Children in school years one to four can come along to Vauxhall Road on Saturday May 28th between 10:00 and 12:00BST and try their hand at the sport, according to HemelToday.co.uk.

FA qualified and CRB checked coaches will be on hand to pass down their tips and expertise, making the sessions fun and safe for those taking part.

Budding David Beckhams and Wayne Rooneys will be able to take part in an enjoyable warm-up, before the coaches move on to looking at technique and skills, which will have them running rings around obstacles in no time!

Small-sided matches will bring a taste of competition, while parents are also invited to stay and cheer on their kids from the sidelines.

It comes at the end of a fun season of football, where young fans saw Manchester United lift the Premier League title last weekend.
