Sussex holds summer activities for kids

There is still plenty to keep your kids occupied in Sussex before summer camps begin.


If your children are artistic, why not take them along to Mini Masterpieces – Kids Saturday Art Club at Petworth House and Park?

This is a drop-in workshop for families where kids aged three to 11 can let their creativity flow, get messy and try working with loads of different materials.

The session is held on the second Saturday of each month until October 8th, so you've got plenty of opportunity to head along and try summer activities for children.

In this historic venue there's much to inspire artwork, which kids can also take home with them for you to proudly display!

This month, the venue is also holding Petworth Peg Doll House – Family Workshop where everyone gets the chance to make their own version of the mansion, with furniture, wallpaper and peg dolls.

If you'd also like to take a look at other artworks, you can view the collections housed in the property, which have been created by artists like Reynolds and Turner.
