If you're looking for fun summer activities for children, you need search no further than Surrey.
Kids (and adults!) still have time to experience a temporary exhibition at the Chertsey Museum, where they can learn more about the 1950s.
The Fabulous Fifties shows how domestic life changed between the 1850s and 1950s, offering you a glimpse back into the past.
This display, which was opened on May 13th, runs until April next year and is free to enter.
Summer activities for children are also provided by the museum in the form of the Brides Revisited display, which will be around for your enjoyment until August this year.
At this exhibition you can look at wedding gowns that come from the Olive Matthews Collection and date from the 18th century to modern times.
If you've still got time to spare after visiting the museum, how about going to the nearby town of Staines?
There are plenty of shops on the high street here, as well as a shopping centre and a retail park.
