Children's camps news: Family-friendly festival hits West Sussex

If you like festivals and want to share the enjoyment with the kids, you can try summer holiday activities for children at a fun West Sussex event.

The West Dean Festival is being held in the South Downs National Park this summer and is aimed at the whole family!

Here you can celebrate the arts, whether it be music, performance, dance, storytelling, film or cooking.

There'll be craft sessions featuring summer activities for children like making fabric and button bracelets, screenprinting clothes and kit making.

At the festival you can also enjoy the sweet strains of live music from a number of well-known singers and up-and-coming names, such as Max Pashm, James hunter, Ray Burley and Slim Lightfoot.

There are loads of genres of music being covered, so you're sure to find something you like, whether it be electro beats, traditional blues or folk music you're after.

If you fancy exploring the great outdoors there's also lots to do in the South Downs National Park, such as cycling, walking and horse riding in the scenic surroundings.
