Enjoy summer activities for children in Letchworth Garden City

If your kids usually enjoy activity day camps in their spare time, they're probably looking for something to do before they can get back there again.

Why not take them to a festival in Hertfordshire?

The Street Fest is being held at Letchworth Garden City and is celebrating its first birthday this year!

There's loads on offer at the free event, such as performing arts, street entertainment and live music.

You can choose between different stages to watch acts on; the Heritage Foundation Stage, the FGH Stage and the HSBC Stage, where The Mighty Wonderfuls and Randolph Matthews will be performing.

There are also loads of summer activities for children on offer, such as face painting, fun fair rides and the Music Train, where kids can try different ways of exploring music.

The festival will launch on Saturday June 11th at 10:00 BST and will run until June 26th.

You may also be interested to hear that Letchworth is the world's first garden city and was founded by Ebenezer Howard, a social reformer, in 1903.
