Summer activities for children to be held at Berkshire fete

This month you can take the family along to a quaint Berkshire village to enjoy a summer fete with summer activities for children.

The Stoke Poges Village Fete is being held on June 11th and will feature music from Wexham Park Hospital Radio, fun stalls, bouncy castles and fairground rides.

At the event you can also take some time out to be pampered in wellbeing tents or satisfy your urge to shop at the local business outlets there.

A Stoke Poges Parish Council spokesperson said: "Stoke Poges Village Fete is a quintessential element of what makes Stoke Poges the welcoming, friendly, community-spirited society that it is."

In addition, the Stoke Poges Air Scouts will prepare a BBQ and there'll also be tea, cakes, candy floss and ice cream on offer.

While you're in the area you can also pop across to Langley Country Park, a historic parkland where you can relax and enjoy the lakes, landscaped gardens, flowers and ancient lanes.
