If your kids want to try adventurous summer activities for children, they can do so in Essex on a dinghy.
The Brightlingsea Sailing Club is holding Dinghy Sailing Taster Sessions on June 11th and 26th and July 11th, where beginners can try their hand at the pursuit and discover more about the club.
If your kids take part, they will have the help of an experienced helm while they're on the water and will also be briefed about the workings of their boat and how to stay safe when they're on the vehicle.
You won't have to buy any equipment for your kids to join in and will only have to fork out £10 for each child!
If your kids would prefer to try indoors summer activities for children at weekends, they can always head along to Colchester Library, which holds a Teen Book Club on the second Saturday of each month.
